Comrex Access Complete Set (84550)

Complete Comrex Access set consisting of a portable wireless IP codec for location and a stationary rackmount IP codec for the studio, enabling you to send high quality audio via IP from each location to the radiostation.

The portable Comrex Acces IP unit can also contribute audio over fixed lines. The handheld unit is robust and suitable for use in a wide variety of environments. Controlling the unit is simple, via buttons or the full-colour touch screen. Suitable for transferring audio over :PSTN (POTS), DSL, Kabel, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, EVDO, Satellitete, 3G, HSDPA, UMTS, Internet. Uses BRIC technology to overwin the limitations of the public internet.

The Comrex Access rackmount IP codec is to be placed at a centralised position (f.i. your radio studio).
It's function is to collect audio that is being transferred from Access portable units, but it can also get it's audio from another rackunit of course. The unit has a built in full featured POTS codec capable of sending 15KHz audio thrue an anloge telephone line. This feature can also be used as backup for an IP connection. Stereo audio in/out, analog as well as digital on XLR.
