This recording quality condenser microphone has been specifically designed for broadcast applications. Now you can experience the warm vocal sound, wide dynamic range and extended frequency response that only a true large capsule condenser microphone can deliver.

Rode designed the Broadcaster using the finest transducer and electronic components available. This design criteria was also carried over to other critical components, such as the capsule's internal shock-mounting system which reduces structural-borne noise to negligible levels, and the fine mesh pop shield which eliminates the effects of plosives. The Broadcaster's body is machined from high grade stainless steel, ensuring the microphone's finish remains as flawless as its operation.

Unique to the Broadcaster is the "On-Air" indicator. This remotely-switched flush-mounted LED provides subtle visual indication of the microphone's active status. The LED can be switched on or off from most consoles, or via a custom mute button.
